Dear Ms. Torrey, I can now say for sure I am going to college. I am attending Tufts University as a result of the binding process of an Early Decision contract. As you are well aware, financial aid allows me to unbind but because the financial package I received was to me the equivalent of a full ride, I have to go! (BIG FAT ZERO next to the loans I am receiving) More importantly, I want to go! It feels like I just won a gold medal in the academic Olympics! This is something we have worked towards for a very long time! I say ‘we’ because you were one of my coaches! I cannot stress enough how big of a role you played in my life's work and future!
