No one can doubt the importance of Bread & Roses' mission--connecting accomplished musicians with individuals in need throughout the community. Delivering on that mission, however, is what makes Bread & Roses exceptional. We at Cedars of Marin (serving 170 adults with developmental disabilities) have regularly benefited from the compassionate and wonderfully talented Bread & Roses volunteer musicians for decades! Whether in their seats or jumping in the air, our folks LOVE their time with Bread & Roses musicians. The whole experience is not just moving but enhanced by the totally professional way the Bread & Roses staff handle all the logistics--top to bottom--including attending most all events. The not so incidental benefit of the experience is that the artists themselves gain tremendously by connecting with the individuals in need throughout the community.
