The Michigan Harvest Gathering (MHG) is an annual event to raise food, funds and awareness of the nutritional needs of low income communities throughout Michigan. In addition, MHG raises the awareness of food insecurity throughout Michigan and encourages people to be a part of the solution to a food secure Michigan. This year, over 1.7 million people will use a food bank throughout Michigan's 83 counties.
