Fund Our Voice!
People with disabilities want their voices heard at the state capitol, in the halls of Congress, and in the court of public opinion.
Disability Rights Wisconsin trains, amplifies, and brings these voices before public policy-makers.
You make this possible by contributing funds that allow us to engage in public policy advocacy.
Launch an Issue Campaign. Produce educational materials, social media messages, surveys, and grassroots meetings on issues of great importance to the disability community.
Sponsor an individual with disabilities to attend a policy-making training program.
Educate Policymakers. Produce a Guide to Disability Issues for legislators and agency officials.
Defend Disability Rights. Register an official representative of Disability Rights Wisconsin to promote disability rights in Congress and at the State Capitol.
Spend one hour with a legislator or agency official to promote positive laws and policies for people with disabilities.
