Why is your support important? Work to Ride is the only program of it's kind in the United States. The majority of equine programs charge a fee for service , are short term and only allow youth and horse interaction at a very basic level. WTR youth are fully exposed and participate in the whole horse experience, which is thought to only be available to people of means. The WTR program is free to low income inner city at risk youth in Philadelphia. They ride in horse shows, hunter paces, Junior Field Master Chases and play polo with the proper clothing, equipment and horses - and they do this all year round. Keeping horses and associated costs places a large burden on our budget and our fund-raising efforts. Your donation will make a difference.
